Your corpus

Your corpus is everything you’ve written: all of your pages, notes, folders, and desks. You find your way around it in the corpus panel, which slides in from the left edge of the window.

  • Pages: Documents. A page can have children of its own.
  • Notes: Documents that belong to a page. A note can have notes of its own.
  • Folders: Plain folders, for grouping.
  • Desks: A special kind of folder. Open a desk and the corpus panel shows only what’s inside it, as if it were the whole corpus. Use a desk for each project, and keep them apart.

Open a folder or desk and the editor is replaced by an overview of what it contains.
